Carly’s passion for art can be traced back to her childhood. Fascinated by human interaction, some of her earliest memories are of her picking up a pencil and sketching the people around her.

Decades later, she still seeks a deeper understanding, explaining: “All my work is an exploration of the experience of being human, encompassing both the profound beauty and possibility of life, alongside the struggle that every human being experiences. There’s something a bit more edgy about these new works.”
