Following a successful debut solo show and collection of limited edition art in 2014, artist Carly Ashdown has gone from strength to strength. For her new works, Carly says she needed to 'challenge herself in new ways'.

She says: "After much reflection and experimenting I went to the canvas with a much freer style and a new sense of purpose, I let go of painting in a way I knew would achieve my usual results. I completely let go of how the pieces should look. It was an incredibly challenging process as I broke through my creative limits."
