Carly Ashdown has always been fascinated with human interaction and the ability of paint to seduce the viewer through illusion. Sweet Surrender is her favourite piece from her new Autumn Collection, she says: "I particularly connect to Sweet Surrender, it’s about acceptance regardless of circumstances and thus trusting life, letting go and allowing for any possibility. I see a vulnerability in this pose which I think it truly beautiful, the image is also symbolic of opening of the heart, and connecting to who we are."

This limited edition boxed canvas is heavily embellished reflecting the texture and depth which can be seen in Carly's original works.
