Following a successful debut solo show and collection of limited edition art in 2014, artist Carly Ashdown has gone from strength to strength. For her new works, Carly says she needed to 'challenge herself in new ways'.

She says: "The releasing of emotions in a new way in has been very powerful, the piece is a very raw expression of my creative process.

"The name Shine is reflective of the way I approached this piece and a reminder to myself to take risks, because as far as I can see we only get one go at this thing called life, it’s almost impossible that we are here, so make the most of this opportunity and Shine!"
