This refreshing original resin and mixed media artwork by Raphael Mazzucco also amalgamates a range of artistic mediums including paint and photography.

Starting with a photograph printed onto an unconventional medium, Raphael draws upon his years of experience as a world-renowned fashion photographer working for such publications as Vogue and Vanity Fair. He then applies layers of acrylic paint and pigmented enamel to add dimension and engender different emotions from the photograph. Enclosing each layer with resin, Raphael also adds text in his own handwriting which blurs the line between written and painted narrative, creating an almost scrapbook page of his thoughts and experiences.
